Broover is a recipe-first workflow for craft distillers. Set up your gear once, build your recipes, and every wash, run, and bottled lot flows from there — with full provenance preserved end to end.
The pattern is the same on every account. Configure your fermenters, stills, RAPT Pills (if you have any), and email preferences once on the Setup tab. Build your recipes — wash recipes for the sugar bill / yeast / nutrient / OG, spirit recipes for the gin / vodka / rum / whiskey / liqueur you bottle. Then pitch a wash from a recipe, log readings, mark fermented; strip the wash to low wines, spirit-run the low wines to neutral, finish the neutral to bottled spirit. Every step preserves the link back to the previous one.
Most distillers don't sit at the still with a phone for a four-hour spirit run; they jot notes on paper and enter the data afterward. Broover defaults to manual entry mode with date and time pickers throughout, so logging a wash you actually pitched on Tuesday from your notebook on Sunday is the natural path. Live mode is one click away when you do want a timer ticking and real-time temperature logging. Either way, the resulting chart, ETA prediction, and lot ledger are identical.
Broover analyses your wash's specific gravity, fermentation rate, and yeast behaviour to surface the right advice at the right moment. Wash hit target FG and stabilised? You'll see a "ready to strip" prompt with practical settling and decant steps. Wash plateaued well above target with no movement? You'll see a stuck-wash recovery playbook in order from easy to drastic — temperature, rouse, nutrient, pH, fresh yeast. Just pitched and panicking that nothing's happening yet? Day-1-and-2 guidance shows what's normal in the first 48 hours. Data-driven, no guessing — Broover tells you when it's done and what to do next.
Broover is currently free to use, with full access to every feature. No payment details required. Sign in or sign up to get started — your data stays with you when paid pricing turns on later.
